Cache Creek Outfitters is owned and operated by Montana native Charles E. Immenschuh. Charlie has been fishing and guiding Montana waters in the Greater Yellowstone Park area for several decades, and he has hand selected the most qualified guides available for his team. Cache Creek guides are locals who know the area intimately. They are avid outdoor enthusiasts with a love for fly fishing, horseback riding and all things related to the great outdoors.

In the spring of 2003, Charlie was fortunate enough to acquire a Gallatin National Forest special use permit, which is very scarce for this region. This allows Cache Creek Outfitters to share the wonders of the Gallatin National Forest via horseback through trail rides. In addition, Cache Creek is one of the very few operators allowed to guide fishermen in the pristine Spanish Peaks Wilderness Area. This has been a great opportunity for Charlie and his guides to find the best fishing and satisfy even the most adventurous souls. These often-secluded and lesser known alpine lakes and streams offer a great addition to the many world famous and popular rivers of Southwest Montana.

In an effort to further enhance our ability to satisfy guest requests, Cache Creek Outfitters has acquired a coveted Yellowstone Park concessions contracted for guided pack and saddle tours. Ninety percent of Yellowstone National Park goes unseen by ninety-nine percent of all Park visitors. There are over 1,200 miles of trails, 97 trailheads, and 104 designated stock camping sites found within Yellowstone Park, all leading to unbelievable scenery, waterfalls, thermal areas and, of course, epic fly fishing. Charlie and the Cache Creek team have thoroughly explored the many regions of this area, and they welcome an opportunity to share their knowledge and experience with you.

The goal of Cache Creek Outfitters is to provide area visitors with a high level outfitted experience that encompasses fly fishing and horseback riding. Our highly qualified guides and horses put the enjoyment, safety, and success of our clients as their first priority. As a licensed fishing outfitter in the State of Montana, priority permit holder in the Gallatin National Forest and concession holder Yell125-16.
